The Bowery Boys get into trouble. Again. Wonderful action scene photo pasted onto this one color lobby card is attention-grabbing. The layout conveys camaraderie and adventure, a little danger, and comedy.
Fascinating illustration: the shark is not so much a reflection in the diver's mask, as it first appears, but the position over his left eye implies they are "eye to eye," which creates tension, danger, and interest to see the movie.
Starcrash (1978). The exciting promotion art shown here does not match the energy of the movie; or budget; or thematic excitement. It also rips off the Star Wars spaceships and original poster artwork.
This one is not in my collection--yet. It sold at a Heritage Auction. While we watched Superman with George Reeves on television, the episodes were packaged as movies for audiences outside the U.S.
