From Zombos' Closet comes a classy and trashy collection of popular culture artifacts for those who love the terrors and treats found in movies, books, and Halloween.
Here's another terrific pressbook from Tony Rivers' collection. He says "Just received the 4 page press book to the 1940 release of THE NEW ADVENTURES OF TARZAN starring Herman Brix. It's for the movie version and not the serial which came out in 1935." Check out Tony's Teenage Horror Factory for B-movie thrills.
I saw this dancing Frankenstein Monster at CVS. Probably Gemmy. Wish it used the Monster Mash music, though. I would have bought it if it did. How can you not have Frankie dance to the Monster Mash?
Making the usual rounds, CVS keeps impressing me with their taste in Halloween decorations each year. Ever since the GREAT RECESSION, I've not seen as much Halloween merchandise in the stores; and what's showing up is usually not at the quality level I've seen years back. But visiting CVS stores and other local haunts each year is never disappointing, I'll say that. I especially love the pumpkin vine arms!
Now if only I could find a LITTLE MORE ROOM in my house...and once I do, sneak in with the stuff before my wife catches me...I'd be right as rain ;)
So, do you still think your Halloween display is all that awesome after seeing what this fanatic does with his front lawn? Me? I'd be ashamed, with only my 3 air-blown blowups to show for it, if he were my neighbor.
