According to Wikipedia's entry on this movie, Hammer had acquired the rights to make the movie in 1958, but the British censors wouldn't allow its production (no reason for this is cited in the entry), so the rights were then sold to AIP. I wonder what a British production would have done, compared to this Italian-American one. You can read the pressbook here.
I'm assuming this is a Mexican lobby card for Edgar Allan Poe: Master of Horror. I believe this Argentine movie can be found on YouTube, but no English subtitles. The card is quite a busy mix of images without any actors named; and the inset scene doesn't work well with the ghoulish imagery either.
Talk about keeping a stiff upper lip, Boris Karloff does that and more in this Mexican lobby card for The Haunted Strangler.
With villains dressed in spookshow-styled skeleton costumes, a stubby T-Rex (hey, that's what it looks like!), a nasty looking monkey, and a sarong-dressed native (more or less), I'd go out on a limb and see this Jungle Jim entry from Columbia Pictures. There's even an evil scientist and a missing football player crammed into the plotline. Wow.
Lots of stock footage and a Mexican lobby card that tosses in a gratuitous bosom make Forbidden Jungle more like Avoid This Jungle. The only saving grace is a man-in-gorilla-suit fighting a tiger. Well, okay, a saving grace for those of us who are into man-in-ape-suit kinds of stuff.
Here's a nice Western action drama to brighten your Saturday matinee.

The Destination Moon pressbook is big. At 13.5 by 20.25 inches, and 31 pages, it is an impressive promotional campaign for the movie. It is interesting to note that this movie presaged the notion of private enterprise spearheading space exploration, not the government. Of course, NASA did the heavy lifting in the beginning, but now it seems private enterprise is taking the lead (for better or worse). Hard to find, El Hombre sin Rostro looks to be a very interesting horror movie. Bloody Pit of Horror has a review.
I'm not sure what movie this Mexican lobby card is for, but I wager it's Big Town After Dark (1947). Although Robert Lowery (Batman and Robin), who is listed on the card, doesn't show as being in this movie (according to IMDb). The card itself sports a superbly dark and scary illustration, one which I doubt depicts anything in the movie, though.
Five Minutes to Live (1961), also known as Door to Door Maniac (AIP's re-release in 1966), stars Johnny Cash. I'm not familiar with the movie but Wikipedia states it's a cult classic. I see it is also available on YouTube. What drew my attention to the movie was this Mexican lobby card 5 Minutos de Vida, which combines primitive but strikingly stylish images with an action inset scene. The colors used also gripped my attention.
Ah, the good old days, when a big club meant something. And those rock and roll parties were awesome. Although this Mexican lobby card says The Valley of the Dinosaurs, they actually meant to say Untamed Women.
